I used to love going outside and making piles of leaves to jump in when I was younger! Kylie loved it just as much as I did! Its so amazing seeing my own child enjoy the traditions I made as a child. 

We made a short video for you all! I'll be posting that tomorrow! 

An Update

Sorry I haven't posted on here in a while! Life is a bit crazy for me right now! I'm remodeling my new house and its been a long process. I can't wait til Kylie and I can finally settle in and feel like were home again. 

I'll definitely have quality posts on this blog this coming week! Promise!

Pumpkin Patch

Halloween is almost here! Kylie carved her first pumpkin! (well, she drew it and I carved it out) 

Its so adorable. She wanted it to have "big, big eyes" as you can see! I'm actually amazed at how adorable it turned out. Little artist maybe? Too early to tell. Haha

Going on outings like this are what make being a mom so much fun. You can carve pumpkins and eat shaved ice and its okay cuz you have a kid! Even on halloween, I awkwardly hold out my candy bag along with Kylie and say trick or treat.. sometimes I get candy.. most of the time I get weird looks.

Little Photographer

I love that she is so curious and wants to try everything. She's rarely afraid to try new things. She has such a huge imagination and a need for adventure. She just learned how to swim by herself the other day! I'm so proud of her. I think its important to let children try different things to find what they're good at. My mom let me try everything from figure skating to marine biology when I was little. I think that experiences like that really open your mind and expand your horizons. What do you think? 

Cerritos Library

Playing catch up on a couple posts! One of Kylie's favorite things to do is to go to the Cerritos library kids section. Its actually fun for me too! Outside are some fountains to run through and some to just look at. Its a great place to spend an hour during the day! And trust me, I actually did brush her hair before these photos.. she does exactly whats shown in the picture. haha

The Big Big Slide

Kylie loves to wear her princess dress/ tinkerbell dress everywhere. I allow it. She has about 5 of them from birthdays and her grandma. 

Hand Me Downs

This jacket used to be mine when I was little. Its from Gap and its embroidered with nursery rhyme characters. I'm glad my mom held onto it for me! It fits Kylie perfectly now!

Kylie loves the beach. If we lived near one, I really think she would grow up to be a beach bum. haha

Kylie is a three year old girl with a love for everything and everyone. She's stubborn and strong willed. Loves to cuddle and laugh. She brings me so much joy every day. My name is Bethany Struble. I'm a fashion blogger, photographer, and actress. And I became a mother at 16 years old.

Let me tell you about Kylie:

Growing up with a "blogger mom" constantly taking photos and using technology, Kylie has learned all my poses and techniques and she can figure out how to use any Apple product. I mean, she's three years old and she reads my Net-a-Porter magazine app. She loves dressing up and helping me pick out my own outfits.

Her favorite thing to do is dance and sing. As I'm writing this, she's "lyrical" dancing to an Adele song. haha. Her favorite food is anything she can help me make. Her favorite color is pink, of course. Favorite song is "The Way I Am" by Ingrid Michaelson. Her favorite place to go is the park with "the big, big slide" and her favorite thing to wear is her princess dress. 

Being a single mom has been a tough journey. I've made mistakes and had my share of hard times, but  I just wanted a place to share with you all the joys of being a mother and give hope to those in the same position I was when I was 16 years old. 

And so began, The Blogger's Daughter.
